Located south of the centre of the community, near the church of Prodromos, is the “Anastasia” Park. The creation of the Park was undertaken by the Agros Community Council. It is a very beautiful park with green gardens, tall cypresses, a wooden kiosk and a lake with fish.
The Park of Agios Lukas is located southeast of the centre of the community, at the village’s entry point for those coming from the city of Lemesos. The creation of the Park was undertaken by the Forest-Friends Association of Agros, whereas both the members of the Association and the members of the Youth Centre worked voluntarily for its completion. What is worth mentioning is that financial support for the creation of the park was provided by Mr. Fotos Photiades, the Youth Centre of Agros, the Cyprus Youth Board, the Community Council of Agros, as well as by the Forest-Friends Association of Agros. The cost for the creation of the Park reached the amount of 60 000 Euros.
At the green Park of Agios Lukas one can enjoy the wonderful scenery, tall cypresses, pine trees, a kiosk, an excursion site, fountains and finally a playground set according to the European Safety Standards. At the playground children can enjoy a slide, swings, a see-saw and a climbing tower.
