AGROS FESTIVAL
Agros Festival is a social activity organized
annually by the Community Council since 1969 until today.
The festival is organized every year on the 15th and 16th
August and includes the following:

Music, dancing, singing etc

Cold cuts, sweets, wines, palouzes, soutzioukos, zivania,
pies, koupes etc

Exhibitions:
Agriculture Exhibition, Charity Exhibition, Photography
Exhibition, Ikebana.

The Community Council aims at the upgrading
of the festival.
SPORTS
 Sports
are essential for development so since 1956 Achilleas of Agros
sports club was founded. The club's goals are the spreading
of sport games and the creation of athletic spirit. The first
athletic activity was football games in the community. Today
the football team takes part in the first league of the Rural
Championship. The basketball team was created in 1988. Things
were not easy at the beginning. With the time passing basketball
was embraced by all the people of Agros. Efforts for better
results made the team enter the A' category in 1995 and stay
there until today. The creation of the National Sports Centre
in Agros will undoubtedly help the Sports Club to achieve
higher goals.
CULTURAL CENTRE AND PERIPHERAL THEATRE
OF AGROS
The multi purpose building in the centre
of Agros was a result of the desire for the creation of an
entertainment area for visitors as well as locals. It consists
of a 300 seats room, a large stage and back stage for theatrical
performances, community library, desks and indoor and outdoor
entertainment rooms. The cultural centre is available for
theatrical performances and other activities.
GRADUATES AND FRIENDS OF AGROS CLUB
The Graduates Club of Agros was founded
in 1972. The foundation of the Coordination Committee followed
and the foundation of Agros Development Company called "I
Proodos" (The Progress) which took major part in the
development of the village and the surrounding area. The publishing
of the magazine "Agros" is an important intellectual
and cultural offer as it explains the history and tradition
of Agros.
FOREST FRIENDS ASSOCIATION
The Association was founded in 1976 aiming
at the extension and protection of the forests and the environment.
It plans excursions and planting of trees and plants in various
available places. After the feast of green and the annual
rewarding of the best garden were established there was a
significant increase of green in Agros.
WOMEN CLUB OF AGROS
The Women Club was founded in 1988 aiming
at the solution of the problems faced by women of Agros as
well as their taking part in social, cultural and other activities
of the community.
ELDERLY CARE CENTRE "I ELEOUSA"
 The
Elderly Care Centre was founded in 1981 aiming at the offer
of services to the elderly members of the community. The Centre's
building is located next to the Hospital with which it is
connected by internal corridors and includes twenty-six double
bedrooms. The Centre also holds a restaurant, handcrafting
room, sitting rooms, personnel rooms, lift etc.
